My latest Stampin' Up cards

New Technique Using Shaving Foam

The pretty background for this card was created using a fun technique that I had never come across before.

  • Squirt some shaving foam into a plastic tray and use a lollipop stick or something similar to remove any gaps or bubbles from the foam.
  • Put a few drops of stamp pad ink onto the surface of the foam.
  • Drag the ink through the foam with the stick to create a swirly pattern.
  • Put the card face down onto the surface of the foam making sure the whole surface is covered. Lift off carefully.
  • Scrape the foam off the card with the edge of the lollipop stick.
  • Wipe the rest of the foam off with a piece of kitchen paper.
  • Stand back and admire the beautiful marble effect pattern you have created.

Card Number Two

A  pretty card made using two of the 'Beautiful Bunch' stamps from the new Stampin' Up Catalogue. The matching punch for the large flower was used to make the lovely embellishment on the front.

Many thanks once again to Jayne of Jayne's Crafty Corner for introducing me to  these lovely new goodies. Already looking forward to the next workshop.
