A Midweek Delivery

For an amazing range of ribbons, buttons and other yummy crafty bits at sensible prices try Crafty Ribbons. I ordered some bits and bobs on Monday and they arrived today (on Wednesday)! ... pretty good.

The buttons I ordered are destined for great things. Some are heading for a life as snowman eyes and some are going to decorate the cream felted bag that is currently in production. I'll let you know how I get on.

Evening Bag

 Another ugly duckling for felting

Knitted with 100% pure wool in black and King Cole Galaxy this big old monstrosity was knitted on an 8mm circular needle.

However...very pleased with the result after felting, and finished off by adding a plain black button.

Think I might try mixing other Galaxy colours with black wool as this makes a pretty and very different evening bag.
