It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas

Christmas Market

I have just spent two busy but very enjoyable days with my stand at a Christmas Market held at the Arundel Arms Hotel in Lifton, Devon. A beautiful country hotel just 2 miles from the Cornish border and very well known as one of the best places to stay if country sports is your thing. As well as browsing the variety of goodies on offer at the Christmas Market visitors were able to enjoy hot drinks and delicious cakes beside the open fire and I actually began to feel quite Christmassy for the first time this year. My parents live in the village so I was also able to spend some lovely family time with them too.

The market was in aid of Children's Hospice South West who now have three hospices across the region. I hope this event will have raised a considerable amount towards their much needed funds.

The event was very well supported and I met some lovely and very talented people who had stands of their own at the market. I will share a few of my absolute favourites with you in the next few days so that maybe you can pop along to their websites and take a look for yourselves at their cleverness. Sadly, back to the day job for me tomorrow.

Here are a few of the hand painted wooden Christmas decorations that I made for the event. All approximately 8cm high.
