Tatty Heart Garlands

Monday was a Funday

Not one to waste a day off, have been trying my hand at some tatty heart garlands today. More fun than tidying up the garden after last night's storm!

These are made very simply by wrapping and tying strips of fabric around a frame made from garden wire. I found it easier to begin with a circular frame and then to form it into a heart shape after the fabric had been added. The fabric was a couple of duvet covers I bought in a local charity shop. Ripping it into strips was very therapeutic but oh, so messy!

...These garlands could be made in whatever shape or colours you fancy. The possibilities are endless.
